Georgia at Ole Miss
Many leading online sportsbooks have moved Georgia to a -2.5 point favorite, despite BetOnline reporting that nearly 60% of the spread bets are on the Bulldogs (7-1), who destoyed Mississippi last season 52-17 while piling up more than 600 yards offense including 300 rushing. But Ole Miss (7-2) is a defensive dominator allowing just 15 points per game, 4.3 yards per play and rank No. 1 in yards per play margin, No. 2 in yards per game margin and No. 2 in scoring margin. Yes, Georgia is a Bulldog and has played a stronger schedule, but a couple close calls while QB Carson Beck has also tossed 11 INT's the past five games. Ole Miss must win to keep their CFP hopes alive, and they also have and explosive, efficient offense averaging 528 yards per game with QB Jaxson Dart on their side. He leads the SEC in passing yards (3,211), TD’s (21), completion (71.7%) and yards per pass play (11.6) after throwing for 515 yards and 6 TD's in last weeks 63-31 in at Arkansas. The games are getting bigger and more meaningful, and we side with the home 'Dog noting too that underdogs are 29-13 in SEC conference games this season. Take +3 and Pick Ole Miss with moneyline bonus cash on both Ole Miss and LSU.
Alabama at LSU
Both teams rested and ready off a bye, and also a Pick on LSU as home 'Dog. Both teams 6-2 and the loser is essentially eliminated from CFP contention. LSU defense has 26 sacks in their last six games, and they'll force 'Bama QB Milroe into some mistakes. Many positive ATS profiles for LSU, who projects to out-gain Alabama and make it a nightmare night game in Death Valley for the 'Tide.
Other Top 25 Picks
Pick: Kansas (+3) vs. No. 17 Iowa State
Opinion: Utah (+3) at No. 9 BYU
Opinion: Michigan (+14.5) at No. 8 Indiana
Opinion: Georgia Tech (+11) vs. No. 4 Miami
Opinion: Virginia Tech (+6.5) vs. No. 23 Clemson (VT QB Drones must play)
Opinion: Texas Tech (+4.5) vs. No. 20 Colorado
Opinion: Oklahoma (-2.5 / 3) at No. 24 Missouri
Opinion: No. 5 Texas (-21.5) vs. Florida (3rd string walk-on QB)
Bonus Pick: South Carolina (-5.5 / 6) at Vanderbilt, who is No. 24 in the Week 11 AP Top 25. Vandy is 6-3, but the 'Dores have been outgained in six games and are about to lose their last three contests. South Carolina is 5-4 and superior while outgaining opponents by +65 yards per contest and so close to beating 'Bama and LSU. A dominant defensive line has 'Cocks rising again and rolling on a 6-1 ATS run.
Our Week 10 Picks and Opinions went 2-1 (no picks) with a pair of outright underdog winners including South Carolina (+3) and Texas Tech (+13.5) plus other chip-in winners.
