Preview and Pick for Lions at Ravens on MNF
Two high-profile and prolific offensive teams battle in Baltimore when the Ravens and Lions draw more watch and wager action at top online sportsbooks for Week 3 Monday Night Football.
For Pride of Detroit and Lions bettors, review the keys to victory and stats, and the breakdown of the Ravens offensive and defensive schemes and you might come up with more interest in player props. I've chipped-in one below after cashing in on the Chargers in their Week 3 win over the Broncos, 23-20 and player prop Denver QB Bo Nix under 217.5 passing yards. The Chargers defense held Nix to 153 passing yards while limiting the Broncos offense to 265 yards on 9 first downs and 48 total plays. Our top totals tips cashed-in on the Packers-Browns under and a pick on the Browns delivered as well as a big outright underdog winner in Cleveland's 13-10 home win.

Lions-Ravens Odds And Props
Ravens: -4.5
Total: 53
Top online sportsbook BetOnline shows NFL odds of Ravens -4 (-115) as the favorite. Don't expect either defense to limit the opposing offenses Monday night, and bettors are banking on more scoring driving this total up. Both the Lions and Ravens rank top-7 in the league through two games in yards per play margin. The Ravens have scored 40 and 41 points in two games and the Lions racked up 52 points in victory last week. Both teams project to reach 400 yards offense, so valid support is for a higher-scoring shootout with the Ravens seemingly holding the edge in the running game with QB Lamar Jackson contributing as usual, along with top RB Derrick Henry.
The Ravens posed some matchup problems for the Lions when these two teams met in 2023 with Baltimore dominating Detroit in a 38-6 victory. Jackson passed for 357 yards and 3 TD's and rushed for 36 more. But the Lions secondary is much improved, and the Ravens offensive line has been sub-par in pass protection this season ranking in the bottom quartile, per Pro Football Focus.
Rushing yards props
BAL - Derick Henry: O/U 86.5
BAL - Lamar Jackson: O/U 42.5
DET - Jahmyr Gibbs: O/U 53.5
DET - David Montgomery: O/U 36.5
More key stats for review point us towards Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs having some success against the Ravens both rushing and receiving. Baltimore ranks No. 32 in defense rush success rate (60.4%). Gibbs should be a key player in the shorter passing and screen game as well (Over 24.5 yards) as the Lions look to control the ball more and keep Jackson on the sidelines.
Gibbs combined for 126 rushing and receiving yards in the 2023 matchup against the Ravens before he had a breakout season in 2024. The Ravens defense is not as strong now, and getting Gibbs to at least 80 combined rushing/receiving yards seems likely, barring injury.
You can bet on it.
