L.A. Rams at Seattle UNDER 42.5
For the third time this season, the Rams and Seahawks will battle. The teams split the season series with the home team winning each game.
If there is a consistent theme among both teams, it's defense. The Rams are the NFL's best in total defense (281.9 ypg) and scoring defense (18.5). The Seahawks finally found their groove on defense about midway through the season.
Seattle ranks in the top ten against the run. After giving up a ton of points in their first eight games, the Seahawks finished the season with a four-game win streak. Over the course of that streak, Seattle gave up an average of just 12.5 points per game.
Now, both teams have good defenses and, being division rivals, they are very familiar with each other. In playoff games between two division rivals, the familiarity usually leads to lower scoring games.
In the most recent 19 postseason games featuring divisional opponents, the Under is 11-7-1. The Under is 12-4 in Rams' games this season and is 6-1 in Seattle's last seven games.
Week 17 was one with many storylines, but we still managed to go 2-1 on our NFL Week 17 best bets.
Cleveland at Pittsburgh (-3.5)
Yes, the Browns beat the Steelers in Week 17, but Pittsburgh didn't play a handful of starters, including QB Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers still almost pulled off the win, losing 24-22. That game was also on the Browns home turf.
This weekend's game is in Pittsburgh with a Steeler team that will be at full strength. The last time the Browns won a game in Pittsburgh, George W. Bush was the president!
The Steelers are No. 1 in the NFL in pressure rate on the opposing quarterback. Cleveland QB Baker Mayfield is one of the worst in the league when facing pressure. Mayfield has also been a profitable fade.
Since the beginning of last season, Browns opponents are 20-11-1 ATS. Pittsburgh went 10-6 ATS this season and, more importantly, went 2-0 ATS against Cleveland.

Baltimore at Tennessee OVER 54.5
It's a big number - 54.5 - but the Titans have been in this situation almost all season. Tennessee averages over 30 points per game and the Over went 12-3-1 in their games this season. That was the best mark in the NFL.
Tennessee also has one of the league's worst defenses. The Titans rank 29th in DVOA and give up 27.4 points per game. Baltimore has the NFL's best rushing offense (171.2 ypg) and last year's MVP, Lamar Jackson, at quarterback.
The Ravens will also have revenge on their mind, as Tennessee knocked them out of the playoffs last year and then beat them again 30-24 during the 2020 regular season.
The Over is a strong play in this one, despite the big number and the fact that the game is being played outdoors in Nissan Stadium in Nashville. Late season outdoor games don't usually lend themselves to the Over.
But, with Ryan Tannehill at quarterback, the Over is 22-6-1 in Titans games. Breaking it down further, the Over is 11-2-1 in Titans games played at home with Tannehill under center.
