The NHL and Sportradar had a partnership that dates back to 2015, but the new agreement takes it to a new level, allowing the company to use league data for sports gambling activity. Workers at closed casinos in New York rallied at the state Capitol on Thursday to urge Gov. Andrew Cuomo to let the facilities reopen, saying their livelihoods are at stake.
