The Los Angeles Rams will try to stay undefeated as they visit the Cleveland Browns at FirstEnergy Stadium on NBC.

Sean McVay felt as if he "over-coached" in preparation for last season's Super Bowl, so maybe that was a lesson learned. Clearly he has one of the favorites to make it to the Super Bowl again, and his Los Angeles Rams will try to bring their record to 3-0 when they pay a visit to the Cleveland Browns at 8:20 PM ET on Sunday night. It's on NBC, and BetAnySports customers can wager on the game in progress as they access what is available though Live Betting Ultra.

Here are the Sunday night NFL betting odds on the game, with reduced juice to bring the vig under -110:

Los Angeles Rams -3.5 (101)
Cleveland Browns +3.5 (-109)

Over 47 points (-105)
Under 47 points (-105)

If there's anything that is going to hols the Rams back, it might be that they are a bit soft in terms of being able to stuff the run, which might be a bit surprising to some for a team that has Aaron Donald playing at a defensive tackle position. But the Rams seem to be intent instead on improving their outside pass rush. There is every possibility that it is going to have an effect on the Browns, because Baker Mayfield is one of those quarterbacks who sometimes holds onto the ball too long in an effort to see if he can get a play going.

Anyway, as we mentioned, Los Angeles needs to get a little sturdier when it comes to slowing down opposing running backs, because their figures last year (allowing 5.1 yards per carry) are not going to cut it. But it opens up opportunities for the Browns, and namely Nick Chubb, who ran for just short of 1000 yards last season even though he was a regular for just over half a season.

The effect of establishing a ground attack with Chubb is to make it just a bit easier for Mayfield to get time to throw, and unless he can throw slants that go 89 yards to Odell Beckham every week, he'll need a little more time for routes to develop for the Big O. Thankfully he has his possession guy (Jarvis Landry). But he doesn't have David Njoku, the developing tight end, and there is a certain drop-off when they go to the second-teamer, Demetrius Harris.

It is safe to say that to Rams probably have more working parts offensively, with receivers that can spread the field and do the job. Todd Gurley, as you know, supplies a receiving threat as well. Goff is admittedly more robotic than Mayfield, but he is efficient in the system established by McVay, and he'll distribute it well - to the likes of Robert Woods, Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp, who is among the elite "possession" pass-catchers in the league.

The intrigue may surround the way Beckham and Landry navigate their way around the Rams' secondary, which is star-studded with corners Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib and safety Eric Weddle. That's probably a slight edge to the Rams, and they also have enough protection to keep Goff's jersey clean.

Whichever way you go may depend on whether you think (a) the Browns are indeed ready to enter the upper echelon of NFL teams, and (b) whether you believe that beating the Jets, as bad as they were, creates a "buy sign."

We actually like the "over" here, as there is enough firepower on the part of both teams. But the Rams are perfectly capable of winning games on the road against this level of opposition. And they are at a stage where they are a little farther advanced than these upstart Browns. So we will also consider laying the points.
