UEFA Euro 2020 Qualifier Preview and Betting Tips - Germany vs. Belarus

The Euro 2020 continues and ROICapper has betting tips and picks for Germany vs. Belarus.

The Euros - 2020 Preview

The Euro 2020 field continues to dwindle, with several more countries punching their ticket to England this week. The card is loaded with a plethora of must-see matches this weekend, with the open spots rapidly decreasing, the urgency to seal their country's fate will be at an all-time high.

Germany vs. Belarus - Group C

11-16-2019 - 2:45 pm ET - 7:45 pm GMT

Borussia-Park, Mönchengladbach, Germany

Germany highlights the matchday as they welcome Belarus to Borussia-Park. The DFB-Eleven have fallen on hard times based on their extremely high standards, after winning the World Cup in 2014, this mighty footballing nation has regressed mightily.

The German's Seek Their Former Dominance

Joachim Löw's reign with the national team seems to be on shaky ground. Löw hit rock bottom last summer when his side failed to advance out of the group stage in Russia, now his tenure with the team seems to be on borrowed time.

The hosts are currently battling the Netherlands for the top seed in Group C. Germany comes in having won five of their last six Euro matches. Another victory on Saturday night will likely assure their spot in the Euro's next summer.

The front-line duo of Timo Werner and Serge Gnabry are part of the German's new youth invasion. This gifted tandem is the future of the national team, having scored 17 total goals over their last ten international matches, giving the Belarus backline plenty to fear.

Toni Kroos is a rare veteran within the starting the eleven. The Real Madrid man is a mainstay in the midfield, his ability on the ball and passing abilities make him irreplaceable within Löw's plan of attack.

Manuel Neuer is the stabilizing force between the sticks. Arguably the top goalkeeper in the world, he is likely to keep a clean sheet each time out.

Germany earned a narrow 2-0 victory against Belarus in June, and now with so much at stake, this would be a great spot for "Die Mannschaft" to have a dominating performance.

Belarus travels to Germany with little to play for at this point in the tournament. The visitors start the matchday in fourth place, having only collecting one victory in group play.

The White Wings Immense Task

Mikhail Markhel understands the task at hand, with the footballing world giving his squad little hope on Saturday night, the veteran manager must devise a competitive gameplan.

Dzyanis Laptsew and Maksim Skavysh will likely assume the main goal-scoring responsibilities within the teams 4-1-4-1 formation. Stanislav Dragun, Igor Stasevich, and Evgeni Yablonski will be key figures in the midfield, wanting to gain possession, and attempt to set their rare attack into motion.

Belarus enters the matchday having lost five of their last seven European fixtures. The opportunity to grab a historic result should motivate this proud side, as they welcome the challenge from the powerful Germans.

Germany vs. Belarus - Match Prediction

Germany holds a large advantage in this fixture. The Germans have accumulated 20 goals through their first six matches, for an average of 3.3 per contest.

Belarus has been less successful thus far, only producing four goals through their last seven outings, for an average of 0.6 during this forgettable qualifying run.

The home side is likely to be less than gracious to their fellow Group C guests. Germany is another heavy possession-based unit, using their wingers to create mismatches, while their talented midfielders locate openings in the defense with accurate passing.

I anticipate Joachim Löw employing his men to have a ruthless approach, wanting to put multiple goals on the scoreboard within the first 45 minutes, while picking up all three points and a large goal differential towards the top spot in the standings.

The likely hood of Belarus penetrating the Germans backline is unlikely. The White Wings will play the bulk of this matchup on their back heels, defending their own goal for large stretches of their time in Mönchengladbach, leading to tired legs and lapse in judgment, playing right into the home sides advantage.

Expect Germany to produce three-plus goals on the day, wanting to place added pressure on the Netherlands who holds the top spot in the standings.
