Tigers at Orange Free Pick
NCAA odds at BetOnline: Clemson - 13.5 / Total 44.5
Clemson is not the Clemson of old and yet they are favored by nearly two touchdowns for this Friday night ESPN matchup. Clemson is 0-6 against the spread (ATS) in their last six games and the total has gone under in four of their last five games. The reason? This is a team that is lacking in playmakers, after years of being loaded with talent on the offensive side of the ball.
Syracuse is 11th in the nation in rushing and are 5-1 ATS in the last six games at the Carrier Dome and 5-1 ATS so far this season. This is a Syracuse team that finished 1-10 last season and could easily be 4-2, but suffered a brutal overtime loss to Wake Forest 40-37.
Check out the video below as Doug makes a solid case for the cover by the home team on Friday's game in Syracuse.
Bulldogs at Cowboys Pick
NCAA betting line at BetUS: Fresno State -3.5 / Total 54
Wyoming is 4-1 this season, but three of their four wins have been against bad teams and the Cowboys haven't exactly crushed any of these inferior opponents, including. Wyoming suffered a tough loss against Air Force last week after failing to score in the 2nd half.
The Fresno State Bulldogs were rolling along before heading to Hawaii, turning the ball over six times and allowing the Warriors to score 17 unanswered points in the 4th quarter, resulting in a 27-24 loss. I really like Fresno quarterback Jake Haener. He's thrown for 2,230 yards and 18 touchdowns, putting him in the top 5 in the nation in both of those categories. But, they have to find some efficiency in the running game to overcome a seasoned Cowboys squad.
More than 80% of bettors are backing Fresno State in the early NCAA betting action and the total has dropped from the opening number of 54.5. I have a great betting angle that supports my free pick on this game so check out the video for my prediction for this game. Watch and Win!
