The Bears are looking to make another run to the top of the NFC North after winning the division last season. They were on the wrong end of a 23-13 loss to Carolina as three-point home favorites in last Thursday’s preseason opener. The total ended as a PUSH on VietBet’s 36-point line. Chicago was 2-2 straight-up and 3-1 against the spread in its four-game preseason schedule in 2018. It went on to win 12 of its 16 regular season games SU before losing to Philadelphia in the playoffs.

Chase Daniel took most of the snaps at quarterback against the Panthers. He completed 11 of his 13 passes for 120 yards. Mitch Trubisky should see some playing time this Friday night as the team’s starter. The Bears rushed for 82 yards on 19 carries in that game led by Kerrith Whyte Jr. He gained 35 yards on six rushing attempts.

The Giants opened their preseason schedule at home against the New York Jets in one of the higher scoring games in Week 1. They came away with a 31-22 win closing as 2.5-point underdogs at VietBet. The total went well OVER 35 points. New York was 2-2 (SU and ATS) last year in the preseason before slipping to 5-11 SU in the regular season. It did go 5-2-1 ATS over its final eight games.

New York Giants betting previewEli Manning is still penciled in as the Giants’ starting quarterback and he remained on the sidelines against the Jets. The team’s first-round draft pick Daniel Jones saw limited action while going a perfect 5-for-5 throwing the ball. This resulted in 67 yards passing and one touchdown throw. New York only rushed for 40 yards in the absence of Saquon Barkley.

Both team’s starters should see more action in Week 2 to give the edge to Chicago both SU and ATS as the better all around team.
