A member was having a problem closing his account with a sportsbook. He opened the account in May 2012, and only played 2 or 3 times. The member was not happy with the sportsbook. He specifically told them when he opened the account not to send mail to his home. He also noted not to send mail to his home address on his account. The sportsbook continued to send mail to his home and for this reason and some other issues the member wanted his sportsbook account closed. He was having trouble getting the sportsbook to discontinue his account. The member contacted OSGA to help him getting his account closed and the solicitation through the mail stopped.
Outcome of Situation/Reason for Feedback:
Shortly after being informed of the issue we contacted the sportsbook on behalf of our member in hopes to help get this issue resolved. The sportsbook advised us that they are closing the members account upon his request and they will remove his name from their mailing list.
You all do very solid work and have recommended OSGA to my friends. It amazing how sportsbooks always comply when a complaint comes from OSGA. OSGA helped me last year with a slow payout, and now this one too. Awesome job! Thanks again!
